Siteco SL 11 exploded view showing modular components

Precise light,
only where it's needed.

The SL 11 pairs Siteco's patented HD faceted reflectors with non-yellowing covers and an optional BLC shield, so light goes on the carriageway and stays there. ULOR 0 means no upward spill; the result is full road compliance with minimal glare and minimal night-sky pollution.

Modular components separate without tools for repair or upgrade, and the Zhaga D4i Smart-Interface keeps the fitting future-ready for sensors and wireless control without rewiring.

Why SL 11.

Four reasons it earns the spec, from the optics out to the housing.

Optics

Patented reflector technology.

Silver-coated HD faceted reflectors and ST1.0a / S05 / P10 optics target light to the road, not the gardens. Optional BLC cover cuts rear glare further. Lens-based fittings lose ~40% efficiency controlling glare; the SL 11 loses just 15%.

Modular

Built to be serviced.

LED modules, drivers and optics separate without tools. No screws, no bonded parts — repair or upgrade in the field rather than shipping the fitting back. Up to 94% recycled plastic in the driver, with components returning cleanly to the material cycle at end of life.

Longevity

L98/B10 at 100,000 hours.

10-year warranty as standard. IP66 sealed, IK10 impact rated, C3 corrosion class with C6 available for coastal and industrial sites. Independently Dark Sky certified. Diecast aluminium housing, powder-coated for decades of Australian outdoor service from -25 °C to +50 °C.

Smart-ready

Zhaga D4i, built in.

Tested independently to the Zhaga Book 18 standard. Add wireless sensors and dimming nodes when you need them. Each fitting stays configurable over Bluetooth from the kerb, post-install.

Provenance

Made in Traunreut, Germany.

Manufactured at Siteco's own facility in Bavaria, with in-house paint shop, optics and LED PCB production. Up to 94 % recycled plastic in the ECG. Locally stocked by QI in Mini and Midi frames for delivery anywhere in Australia.

Reflectors, not lenses.

Most LED fittings on the market use primary lenses. The SL 11 uses silver-coated facetted reflectors. The result is softer glare, tighter cut-off, less heat on the diode and wider pole spacing.

  1. 01

    Glare under control.

Silver-coated facetted reflectors paired with a double-curved diffuser break light across many small surfaces. High-intensity hot spots get softened. The drop in subjective glare is what most people notice first when a reflector fitting is compared to a lensed one side by side.

  2. 02

Light goes where you specified it.

Reflectors redirect light beyond 90°. Lens efficiency falls off past 30° of deflection. Back-light onto facades, gardens and adjacent properties gets cut off cleanly rather than scattered, so ULOR stays at zero where the design calls for it.

  3. 03

    Cooler LEDs, longer service.

Reflectors sit at a distance from the LED rather than enclosing it. Less blue-light feedback, less thermal load on the diode. The result is L98/B10 at 100,000 hours.

  4. 04

    Wider pole spacing.

The wave-shaped reflector canopy carries light further from each fitting. Wider spacing between poles is possible without thinning the photometric design, so larger sites cover off with fewer fittings.

Silver-coated facetted reflector tray of the SL 11

Built at source. Inspected at nanometre precision.

The silver coating and its double protective layer are both patented. Production runs entirely in Siteco's Traunreut facility in Bavaria: own lens production, own paint shop, own LED PCB line, all on one site. Quality control happens under microscope at nanometre scale, on every batch.

Click-in environmental shields.

Light emitted above 70° is what attracts insects and spills upward into the night sky. Two click-in shields target exactly that angle, without cutting primary road-direction output.

Red shield
Converts flat-angle light above 70° into red, then redirects it back to the surface where it's useful. Reduces insect attraction at the source without losing flux.
Black shield
Absorbs flat-angle light above 70° entirely. 100% Dark Sky compliant, 0% upward light output, ideal for observatory and regional dark-sky zones.

Both shields snap into the reflector tray in seconds, no tools, no rewiring. Neither cuts the efficiency of the primary distribution.

iQ Smart-Interface.

Configure, dim and update each fitting after it's installed. Ready for the network today, future-proof for tomorrow.

Auto-Match

Spare ECG swaps in two minutes.

Luminaire data is stored twice. A replacement ECG configures itself from the fitting at install, no reprogramming, no specialist tools. Field maintenance stays simple even years after the project closes.

Desk- / Street-Remote

Reconfigure from the kerb.

Adjust parameters over Bluetooth from a workshop bench or a vehicle on the street. No opening the luminaire, no power feed. Settings stay tunable after install rather than locked at commissioning.

Colour- / Lumen-Switch

Tune CCT by time of day.

Set a schedule: cooler 4000 K through peak hours, warmer 2200 K through the early morning to ease insect attraction and respect surrounding residents. CCT (2200 K, 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K) and lumen output adjust over the iQ interface, after install, with no LED board swap.

Zhaga D4i

Plug-and-play for the future.

Smart-Interface is certified to the Zhaga Book 18 standard by an independent lab. Add wireless sensors, dimming nodes or telemanagement when the project needs them, without committing to a single control system now.
